I can feel you blushing at the thought of becoming a Chat-Line Operator but is it as bad as it sounds?  You must be a little bit curious, right?

I have previously written about working from home on the telephone but this one is a little bit different.

For me, it conjures up all sorts of images, thoughts and fears but if you could earn £2000 per month working the hours you choose, from the comfort of your own home, could you do it?

No commuting, no boss, no asking for holidays, a good hourly rate.  Almost sounds too good to be true.

IS IT POSSIBLE, CAN YOU REALLY MAKE MONEY WITH SURVEYS?

Do surveys that pay cash exist? Have you ever wondered if you can really make money with surveys?

This is something I’ve been wondering about a lot lately. I’ve done a few surveys in the past and made a few pounds but never really committed to it. I’ve always been too busy bringing in what I thought was the ‘bigger’ money, but could surveys be the ‘bigger’ money?

Learn How This Child Set Up His Own Business

LEARN HOW THIS CHILD SET UP HIS OWN BUSINESS

I recently learned about a child who has set up his own business designing and manufacturing socks using positive affirmations.

As you may know, I encourage my own child to make money. I believe that encouraging children and showing them that they can create their own income should they choose, is an important part of creating a healthy relationship with money for them.

Children are naturally creative and sometimes have some fantastic ideas.   Great inventions need research and I wrote a post recently about where you can get help with making money from inventions which you can read here.

So, back to the child who designs his own socks……..

Nine year old Safin started his designs for Socky Wocky at his kitchen table and now has a website, http://www.sockywocky.co.uk/ where he sells his “really cool, bright and fun socks”.

Safin’s mum does all the admin, but the ideas and designs, including the company logo come from Safin himself.

I had the privilege of interviewing this intelligent young man to find out more.  Read on to hear more about Safin in his own words.  Prepare to be inspired!

Do you want to learn ways to make extra money?  Some people need extra income to pay off debt, for others it’s to pay for luxuries. Whatever the reason, extra income will always make our lives easier and help us to sleep easier at night!

For those of you that have been following my blog, then you know that I’m a work at home mum, you can read my story here.  I have various income streams and I earn more with some things than others.

However, for many of you, you will already have a job or a busy life and want to learn ways to make extra money in your spare time.

Some of these ideas may only pay a few pounds here and there, but those pounds soon add up to a nice little sum!

You can then choose to pay off debt, put the money away into a savings account or treat yourself to those luxuries in life you would otherwise not be able to afford.

HOW TO MAKE MONEY FLOWER ARRANGING

I didn’t really know how to do flower arranging until I got married. I wanted to save money on my wedding and when I started looking at the cost of wedding flowers I was sure I could do it cheaper myself.

For my wedding I needed 3 bouquets, flowers for the guest tables, flowers for the top table, button holes and a cake topper.  The cost was hundreds of pounds!

Fresh flowers were the most expensive. I didn’t want the stress on the day of waiting for fresh flowers to arrive.  To me, it was just another thing to worry about, so I settled on artificial flowers.

I searched for the cheapest ways to do wedding flowers and decided to have a go at making my own, making a huge saving with all of my wedding flowers costing me £70. After the wedding I then sold them in the local paper for £50. This gave me the idea that I could make money flower arranging!

Diggerland Review

DIGGERLAND REVIEW

Diggerland was my 7 year old son’s choice of birthday treat this year.  We ask him each year whether he would like a party or a special day out and this year, much to my delight and relief, he chose a day out.

We love family days out and my son is crazy about all things to do with construction, so this was the perfect combination for us to celebrate his day.

There are currently four Diggerland locations across the UK.  The current parks are in Kent, Devon, Durham and Yorkshire with another one planned for the not too distant future.  We chose Devon because we keep our little caravan down there so it made sense to combine the two visits.
