HOW TO MAKE MONEY ON AMAZON – 8 SIMPLE WAYS

I don’t think there are many people who won’t have heard of Amazon and i’m sure that at some point you’ve probably bought something off the internet giant!

It might surprise you to know though that there are a few ways that you can actually make money on Amazon too!

Today I will share with you how to make money on Amazon.

Here are 8 brilliant ways that you can start, even if you’re just a beginner!

1. Make Money on Amazon Through Your Blog or Website

This is for those of you that have a blog or a website. (If you don’t already have a blog or a website, you can set one up today very easily following this step by step guide here.)

You can make money on Amazon as an Amazon Affiliate by joining the Amazon Associates Programme. The link to join is at the bottom of this page here.

How Does it Work?

To make money as an affiliate, you basically get paid commissions on any purchases made after your readers click on your Amazon link. The best way to do this is to recommend products you already use.

When you recommend a product and one of your readers clicks on the link to Amazon but then decides not to buy that product but they buy something else whilst they are on the platform, or even within the next 24 hour period, then you will get paid a commission on anything they buy. That could work out quite nicely if you’ve linked to a toaster but they decide to buy a washing machine and a fridget freezer! Commissions vary but can be as much as 10%.

2. Make Money Reviewing Amazon Products You Have at Home

This is by far one of the easiest ways to make money I have ever come across. We all buy from Amazon and if you look around your home you will have products that are listed on Amazon, even if you didn’t buy from there. You can do simple reviews and earn passive income and as this grows you may even get companies sending you free products to review. 3. Selling and Sending Products

You can sell physical products on Amazon to make money. Here your opportunities are endless and it’s a good idea to do some research first to see what is already selling and the prices being paid.

Take a look at review numbers and that will give you an idea of how popular something is.

If you don’t know where to start with selling physical products you could start selling second hand items or find wholesalers to supply your products. Don’t worry if you don’t know where to find wholesalers, i’ve got you covered here in this post which explains exactly where to find products.

4. Make Money with Amazon FBA

Amazon FBA is basically ‘Fulfilled by Amazon’. It means that you don’t physically send out your products each time somebody orders an item off you, Amazon does it for you!

This option can be very lucrative once you’ve found the right product at the right price.

Again, it’s really important to first do your research and have a look at what is already selling on Amazon. Alibaba and AliExpress are great places to start to find cheap products to sell at a great profit.

The key here is to start small and scale your business as time progresses and you make more money.

5. Make Money with Merch by Amazon

This is a really simple and fun way to make some extra money. You basically design t-shirts, send the design to Merch by Amazon and they do the rest. It’s a brilliant way to make some passive income!

Don’t worry, you don’t need to be a designer or know anything about design. You can create t-shirt designs with text only if you wish and these sell just as well as the intricate designs. You can create something simple using Canva or Gimp. They are both free and easy to use.

If you do have some graphic design knowledge or skills then you can create designs using Photoshop to make something a little more elaborate.

Whatever you choose, have a look at some of the existing designs on Amazon first to get an idea of what you could produce.

Once you have produced your designs and uploaded them to Merch, the money you make is then completely passive. Like all money making, the more you put into it the more you will get out of it.

6. Make Money on Amazon Selling Short Books on KDP

If you enjoy writing then why not try your hand at writing some short books. These can be fiction or if you have knowledge of a particular subject then short ‘How To’ guides work well too.

With Amazon Kindle Publishing, you could self publish your book and be a successful Author. With up to 70% income off each book that is sold, this could make you a lot of money if you published enough books.

If you don’t write yourself, you could even pay somebody on Fiverr to ghost write for you, then sell the book as your own!

7. Join Amazon Handmade to Make Money

Making and selling crafts is, hands down, one of the best ways to make money, I know because it’s something I do.

Not only is it enjoyable, the cost is low because all you need to buy is materials, not actual products. There are lots of things you can make and sell. Here are a few ideas to get you thinking:

Jewellery
Accessories
Plaques and Signs
Bags
Cushions
Soaps
Candles

Once again the choice is yours whether you post out the products yourself or use Fulfilled by Amazon.

8. Make Money with Amazon Virtual Locations

Amazon Virtual Locations is a place where you can search for virtual, or work from home jobs available in your area.

If you would like to work for Amazon but you don’t live near a physical Amazon location then this is the place where you can search for home jobs.

Opportunities are updated regularly and you can search by job category and the hours you would like to work.

This is perfect for anyone with the right qualifications looking for flexible working from home.
